Deffinity Africa
Infrastructure funding and development partner

Building Africa’s tomorrow, today.

Deffinity Africa connects infrastructure projects with the capital to build them. Through a Build-Operate-Transfer model, we ease the upfront cost for governments and communities, run the asset until it performs, then hand it over.

How it works

Build. Operate. Transfer.

The asset is funded and built first, proven in operation, and then handed to the client, community or government that will own it.

1

Build

We mobilise the capital, technical expertise and resources to construct the infrastructure.

2

Operate

We run the asset for an agreed period, focused on performance, cost recovery and return on investment.

3

Transfer

At the end of the operating period, ownership passes to the client, community or government.

From the Chairman

“Africa’s potential is limitless — but potential alone is not enough.”

Nico Matlala, Chairman

Deffinity Africa exists to turn that potential into roads, power, housing and connectivity that communities can use. We work alongside governments, NGOs, private investors and international funding bodies to get projects funded, built and handed over.
